this is me attempting to do an assignment.

Parkhurst.
I lived in the place for about 8 years, this is me moving out on 2009.
the camera is set up on an old cd rack ( do those things still exist?) on the median strip.
there was soooo much stuff that all the apartments put out on the lawn,
some charity shop people even came over and got some things.
I miss this place so much, no where else has ever felt so much like it was meant for me.

I have trying to take photos again.
its hard work using an iphone, get the angles right,
 and trying to make it look like youre not holding it your self
I don't have any working digital cameras any more.
maybe I should start a pozzible thingie to get one...
eh?

once upon a time.

 

this is a photo I have wanted to post for years, but never had.
at the time it meant so much to me, and what was happening.
it was just before I went over seas, maybe 4-5 years ago,
and I fell in love with a man I shouldn't have. you know the story-
man meets baben younger chic, man is married, younger chic is
leaving the country soon and thinks it'll be fun.heart ache ensues.
this was taken after he left on the first night he stayed.
i'm holding a ciggie in my hand, im on my bed and texting him.
of course this photo is set up, but I was in the position and thought
it would make a good photo cause my nokia (yes nokia) phone was so bright.
its been a while Shiny Thing.I miss you. sometimes...

its that time of year when you think about the ones you love, and how you miss them. you re-evaluate what is important to you, and what is missing in you life. it's as simple as flicking the channel at your parents house that rekindles precious memories..
